Moon Rock

2003

A temporary site specific work made as part of an international Live Arts Project on the island of Mohni, Estonia.

The week-long project invited artists to respond to the environment of the small island, concluding in a day of events, performances and installations.

Moon Rock was made in response to the decommissioned lighthouse on the island. The silver form could be seen from the mainland and provided an alternative navigation point for the few boats sailing to this once busy island.
